Angelique Kerber Welcomes First Child, Daughter Liana
German tennis star Angelique Kerber has announced the birth of her first child, a daughter named Liana. The 35-year-old, who has won three Grand Slam titles, shared the news on her Instagram account on Tuesday, just three days after the baby was born on February 25th.
Kerber had taken a break from tennis last year to prepare for the arrival of her child. During her time away from the sport, she kept busy with other projects, including writing a book that was published last year. She spent the final months of her pregnancy out of the public eye, and has now confirmed the birth of her daughter with partner Franco Bianco.
