In all Czech Republican clashes, Katerina Siniakova clinched a singles title against fellow star Marie Bouzková. The winner won the 2nd title of the year and 5th title of the career in 3 sets with 1-6, 7-6, 7-6.
While in the doubles, Vera Zvonareva and Laura Siegemund defeated Japanese pair Makoto Ninomiya and Eri Hozumi in straight sets. They both won their 6th titles overall and qualified for WTA Finals Cancun 2023.

WTA Jiangxi Open History and Winners
The tournament was introduced in 2014, For the first two years, this was a WTA 125K series-level tournament. However, beginning in 2016, it became one of the main WTA250 Tour-level tournaments under the International classification. This will be the first edition of the tournament held since 2019, as the intervening editions were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in China and the WTA’s response to the disappearance of Peng Shuai.
