The 2023 WTA Hungarian Grand Prix, also known as Budapest Grand Prix / Hungarian Ladies Open, is a WTA 250-level tournament. The event will start from, 17 July through 23 July 2023. It will be the 21st edition this year.
The tournament is held the week after the Wimbledon Open (Grand Slam Tournament) and the same week as the WTA 250 tournament, Lausanne Open.

Hungarian Grand Prix 2023 Results
In the singles championship, Russian tennis player Maria Timofeeva, 19 years old and world number 246, wins the title in Budapest, her first appearance in a WTA main draw. Maria appeared in the main draw as a lucky loser player and won her maiden title after defeating Ukrainian star Kateryna Baindl in the final with 6-3, 3-6, 6-0.
In the doubles, Katarzyna Piter and Fanny Stollar won the doubles in the WTA 250 tournament on clay courts in Budapest. In Sunday’s final, the Polish and Hungarian defeated Jessie Aney and Anna Siskova 6-4, 4-6, 10-4. Katarzyna Piter waited 3662 days for another WTA title in doubles.

Hungarian Grand Prix 2022 Champions
In singles, American star Bernarda Pera won a single championship against Alexandra Krunic of Slovakia. Pera wins her 1st career title with straight sets (6-3,6-3).
While In the doubles championship, Georgian pair Oksana Kalashnikova and Ekaterine Gorgodze defeated Kimberley Zimmermann of Belgium and Katarzyna Piter of Poland in the final set (1-6, 6-4,10-4).
Hungarian Grand Prix (Tennis) 2021 Champions
The winner of the Budapest tennis tournament in 2021 was Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan. Yulia faced Anhelina Kalinina of Ukraine and beat her by (6–4, 6–0) in the singles final.
In doubles, Mihaela Buzărnescu of Romania and Fanny Stollár of Hungary were the defending champions. The winning pair defeated Aliona Bolsova of Spain and Tamara Korpatsch of Germany by (6–4, 6–4) in the doubles final in 2021.

The tournament was formerly known as Poli-Farbe Budapest Grand Prix, Gaz de France Grand Prix, GDF Suez Grand Prix, Tippmix Budapest Grand Prix, Colortex Budapest Grand Prix, Westel 900 Budapest Open, Budapest Lotto Open, Budapest Open, and Budapest Grand Prix.
The event was replaced in the 2014 WTA Tour with a new tournament Bucharest Open held in Bucharest, Romania. It returned in 2021 as the Hungarian Grand Prix.
