The event was held at the outdoor clay court surface of Country Time Club Palermo, Italy. The tournament will feature 2 weeks after the Wimbledon Open (Grand Slam Tournament) and the same week as the WTA 250 tournament, the Hungarian Grand Prix

In the Singles, The world No. 7 Qinwen Zheng successfully retain her Palermo Ladies Open crown. Taking on second seed Karolina Muchova, the top seed secured a 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 victory.
Alexandra Panova and Yana Sizikova won the doubles title at the 2024 Palermo Ladies Open, defeating Yvonne Cavallé Reimers and Aurora Zantedeschi in the final, 4–6, 6–3, [10–5]. Sizikova and Kimberley Zimmermann were the reigning champions but chose not to defend their title together.
