Iga Swiatek achieved a rare feat by winning her third consecutive French Open women’s title with a dominant performance against Italian 12th seed Jasmine Paolini. Poland’s Swiatek showcased her clay-court prowess on the Roland Garros stage with a convincing 6-2, 6-1 victory.
Despite an early break, the world number one quickly regained control, winning 11 of the next 12 games. This triumph marks the 23-year-old Swiatek’s fourth title in Paris and her fifth Grand Slam overall, following her 2022 US Open victory. Swiatek’s continued dominance on Court Philippe-Chatrier solidifies her status as a powerhouse in women’s tennis.
In the doubles, 5th-seeded pair American Coco Gauff and Czech Republican Katerina Siniakova defeated Italian pair Jasmine Paolini and Sara Errani in the final. Jasmine Paolini – a finalist in both Singles and doubles – and Katerina lost the final battle in straight sets 6-7, 3-6.
