Stuttgart Open, in 2022 also known as Porsche Tennis Grand Prix due to lead sponsor since 1978, is WTA 500 categorized Tournament. The event is held on the hard clay court surface of Porsche-Arena in Stuttgart, Germany since 2006. The tournament is the oldest women’s indoor tournament in Europe & it’s a 32S/16D draw event.
The 44th edition of the Women’s Stuttgart Open started on 16th April and the final was played on 24th April including qualifying matches. In 2022, Singles Title won by World No. 1 Iga Swiatek (Poland) against Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus). Polish star easily won the final battle with 6-2, 6-2. 20-year-old Iga wins 23 matches consecutively and wins the fourth straight title. Polish star also won her last seven finals in straight sets. Her winning streak began with a title run at WTA Doha. Back-to-back finalist Ayna Sbalenka couldn’t win a title.

On the other side in the doubles championship, Seeded no. 2 Demi Schuurs of Nederland and Desirae Krawczyk of USA won a title against seeded no. 1 Zhang Shuai of China and Coco Gauff of USA. It was the first title in 2022 for titleholders.
