Birmingham Classic also known as Rothesay Classic Birmingham or Viking Classic Birmingham is a WTA 250-level tournament. This tournament was founded in 1982 and it will be its 40th edition in 2022. Event held in outdoor grass court of Edgbaston Priory Club, Birmingham United Kingdom. It consists of 32 singles draw and 16 doubles. The 2022 edition will start on 13 June and the final will be played on 19 June 2022.

2022 Birmingham Classic Winners
In 2022, the singles champion is Beatriz Haddad Maia (BR) and she defeated Shuai Zhang (CN). In the final, B. Haddad grabs victory by (5-4). Unfortunately, Haddad Maia announced retirement too.

In doubles, Ukrainian player Lyudmyla Kichenok and Latvian player Jelena Ostapenko won the title against Elise Mertens of Belgium & Shuai Zhang of China.
Birmingham Classic Champions 2021
In 2021 singles champion was Ons Jabeur (TUN) and she defeated Daria Kasatkina (RUS). In the final, Ons grabs victory in straight sets (7-5, 6-4). In doubles, Czeck Republican pair Marie Bouzkova and Lucie Hradecka won the title against singles champion Ons Jabeur (TUN) and Ellen Perez (AUS).
